Wed 28th October - Mr. Pyz and the Digital Playboy

Switch. Snafu's resident Electro fueled night.
MASSIVE thanks to everyone who came along to see Hostage last month, huge success and undoubtedly the best Switch night so far!
October sees Cab Vol residents Mr. Pyz & The Digital Playboy return to Snafu for what is set to be another epic night.
Pyz:
As founding member of the Dropout Dj’s Pyz has been djing on the Edinburgh seen for over seven years. In this time his sound has move from the hard techno of glenn willson and punished record to down beat minimal techno, micro house and electro. His sound is now very European with hints of electro pop but retaining the liner force techno the sound that originally inspired him to love dance music. In 2003 Pyz set up mind week institution Split @ Cabaret Voltaire. Now in its 6th years the Tuesday night shindig still attracts audiences of 600 plus week in week out! After just a year of split pyz also lunched Access @ the honeycomb monthly on Fridays where he concentrated more techno and Electro. Over the last 5 years access and JD Pyz have played host to some of the biggest names in European electro such as: The Hacker, Agoria, David Carretta, Dj Hell, Ivan Smagghe and Alloy Mental! With the honeycomb closing it doors in 2006 Access ran quartile @ Cab Vol till 2008 leaving JD Pyz space to concentrate on his own djing and production.
\\\Electro / Tech / Punk / Minimal///
Switch. DJs:
P.E.D.S:
Aberdeen's very own purveyor of electronic foreplay. Not for the fainthearted casual disco traveller. Expect computers going berserk, warped bass lines and tracks that leap up and down on your brain like a pair of 20-holed techno Dr Martens. For those about to rock. And then some. Anyone with a vague interest in throwing shapes will be hooked. Recently he has played alongside the likes of Felix Da Housecat, Hostage and the Rogue Element.
Dickie Drysdale:
A regular face on the Edinburgh club circut. Holds residencies in Newcaslt (Giya), Leeds (Contact) and of course Edinburgh. This fresh faced hoodlum has played alongside Utah saints, Scratch Perverts, London Elektricity and Erol Alkan to name a few. Sure to warm you up and spank u hard for good measure.
